Connecting your pages to your microsite

Why Build A Microsite? Many organizations choose to create a separate web site (or “microsite”) for their event or fundraising campaign. Event web sites may contain information pages that are not part of the system, for instance: Maps to the event, photo galleries, or sponsor recognition areas.

The following points of contact can be easily integrated into your microsite.

Login Box: The “username & password” login box from your event can be embedded anywhere you like on your own web pages.

Search for an individual or team: The permanent link to our search page can be put behind a button or in text anywhere on your microsite. This will lead donors directly to the search page in our system.

Direct Registration: The permanent link to register can be put behind a button or in text anywhere on your microsite. This will lead registrants directly to the first stage of registration (please provide contact info), avoiding the “event home page”.

Fundraising scoreboards: All individual and team scoreboards can be embedded on your own web pages using the <iframe> tag, allowing you to have a “scoreboard” page on your microsite, or to show off your top fundraisers on any blog or web site.

You can choose to embed scoreboards displaying overall totals for the entire event, or choose to show totals by location. Multiple scoreboards can be embedded on your web site.
