Main Menu Buttons Missing

If you have missing buttons on the main menu of GiftWorks, you will need to do the following. Uninstall, then re-install GiftWorks, then sign-in as an Administrator. That usually resolves the problem. So that you dont lose your data, we recommend this process:

  1. Make sure your Database is saved on your desktop or My Documents folder.
  2. Click on your Start Menu
  3. Click on Control Panel
  4. Double Click on Programs or Programs and Features
  5. Scroll down on the list to find GiftWorks and click on it.
  6. Click on Remove/Uninstall
  7. Once the Un-installation is complete, Open the Folder Called My Computer
  8. Double Click on Program Files
  9. Scroll through the folders there and locate the one called FrontStream (for GiftWorks 2015) or the one called Mission Research (for GiftWorks 2014 and prior)
  10. Right click on the folder and choose/click Delete (You may be asked to confirm the deletion, click Yes or Continue if needed.)
  11. Now you are ready to Re-install the Program
  12. Go to and click on download for the CRM/GiftWorks version you purchased choose the option for all users
  13. Open GiftWorks.
  14. Register your License Key -Click on Help at top left corner of GiftWorks, choose Update License Key.
  15. Click Options or Change and choose Select an existing database and browse to where you saved the .gds file and Open it. Then Sign In.
