How do I create a Total Raised widget?

The Total Raised widget allows you to display your event or campaign total in real-time on your website. The widget will link directly over to your FirstGiving page.

Setup is very simple from the Widgets tab of your FirstGiving nonprofit account.

Once you have navigated to the widgets tab, please select the Total Raised feature.

You see the options to customize your Total Raised widget, which include:

  • The ability to select your start page (for nonprofits that have more than one).
  • The ability to select which event you want this widget to reflect.
  • The ability to toggle the Call to Action feature on or off.
  • The ability to edit the verbiage on this widget.

 

Finally you will be provided with a custom HTML code that you will then copy and paste into the editing area of your nonprofit website.
